Once again Leon & Lulu in Clawson will be opening their doors to local authors in support of adult literacy. More than 60 authors will be on hand throughout the store to share their reading and writing works with curious shoppers on Sunday October 23rd from 11 am – 5 pm.
The Oakland Literacy Council is the beneficiary of the event and will receive 10% of sales that day.
This year the list of authors for the juried book fair is bigger than ever featuring books from a large variety of genres. History buffs, science fiction fans, cooks and children will all find books of interest. This event allows authors to come out of their ivory towers and meet their fans in a comfortable and inviting space.
